Applicants must meet the below criteria:

• Minimum GPA – 2.5 Cumulative (Through 1st Semester of Senior Year)
• Minimum ACT Score – 17 Composite
• Iberville, West Baton Rouge or Pointe Coupee High School graduating senior accepted to Accredited 4-year
  University or 2 – year Accredited College

One-time $2,500 award, made payable directly to university.

Items to include with your application:

• High School Transcript submission with Application
• 2 Letters of Recommendation which address how you, as a student, have persevered through hardship to achieve academic success and motivation to attend higher education.
• 1,000 - word essay addressing the following topics:
  • Give a brief biography and description of what’s important to you and what motivates you.
  • Describe hardships you have endured in life.
  • What are the merits of perseverance? Why is perseverance important?
  • How will you persevere moving forward, specifically in college?

The application period is January 10, 2025 through February 28, 2025.

Scholarship will be awarded April 18, 2025.
